GENERAL OVERVIEW

Mr. Finney has been actively involved in construction for over twenty years. He holds a B.S. in Construction Management from Colorado State University and is currently a Class C Licensed General Contractor in Denver, Colorado. His extensive hands on experience, education and role as a Superintendent, Project Manager and General Contractor have allowed him to be intimately involved in every aspect of the construction process. He is familiar with both the administrative and production components of the industry and thus able to accurately pinpoint the cause of what can often be a complex web of misunderstanding and/or work performance that undermines construction disputes. His experience has taught him how to successfully navigate through conflict in a professional manner.

1978-1985: Various General Contractors; Steamboat Springs, Colorado
Residential Carpenter: Performed all phases of exterior and interior carpentry on condominium projects, townhomes, custom homes including log structures
Carpentry Foreman: responsible for building layout, daily scheduling and performance of carpentry activities

1985-1987: Reid Burton Construction; Ft. Collins, Colorado
Commercial Carpenter: Concrete foundation and flatwork including form setting, installation of pre-cast concrete wall panels, installation of structural steel beams, bar joists & columns, installation of corrugated metal decking
Assistant Site Superintendent: Assisted superintendent on commercial projects;
responsibilities included site / building layout, scheduling subcontractors, quality control, recording daily job log

1987-1989: KZ Smith & Company; Denver, Colorado
Superintendent: On site carpentry and supervision of all subcontractors on custom home and home addition projects ($250K – $1.5M range)
