GENERAL OVERVIEW Objective: To utilize my experience and expertise in management, leadership and organization learned through my tenure as an executive in the field of construction and development. Aspen Developers Corporation June 2008 - Present As President and Director of Operations, implementing strategies to effectively build and manage projects meeting or exceeding customer expectations and budget constraints. Working to change the company culture from private work to public works due to the downturn in private projects. Putting in place Estimator/ PMs that could be more self sufficient so as to eliminate redundancy thereby decreasing overhead. Making sure all jobs were profitable. Q & D Construction March 1993 -- April 2008 During fifteen year tenure with Q & D Construction, revenues grew from $18 million per year to a peak of $340 million in 2006. Projects ranged from completed subdivision infrastructure, NDOT highway projects, golf courses, reservoirs, sewer and water, and other infrastructure placement within northern Nevada and northern California. Chief Executive Officer: Promoted October 2007 for the purpose of moving Q & D from a family-owned business to an on-going sustained corporation. Reorganized personnel, transitioned new CFO, and began community development of relationships for the purpose of future construction projects. Vice President of General Engineering: Due to tremendous growth within Q & D and the construction community, internal reorganization individualizing departments and department heads developed this position in 2001. Responsible for the supervision and management of seven estimators, four general superintendents and a field force of approximately 700 (operating engineers, laborers, carpenters, and masons.) Division Manager of General Engineering: In charge of all general engineering operations beginning in 1995. Responsibilities included the supervision and management of three estimators, two general superintendents and a field force of approximately 150 operating engineers, laborers, and carpenters. General Superintendent: Hired in 1993 to oversee the field operations. Supervision and management of four foremen and forty-five field personnel consisting of operating engineers and laborers. Perata Construction 1991-1993 Estimator and Project Manager Helms Construction 1979 - 1991 Operating Engineer: Hired in 1979, then promoted to foreman and ultimately superintendent. Served as superintendent during the construction and development of the Resort at Squaw Creek, the final project for Helms Construction.
