generation builder, gained early experience working at Capaldi Building Company,

President of Capaldi Building Company and has been a licensed custom home
builder since 1965 and a licensed real estate broker since 1975. Fred’s company
specializes in custom home building and remodeling. While the company’s primary
focus is on constructing new and remodeled homes, Fred’s expertise has
facilitated growth in specialized niches for the company. Relying on decades of
practical experience, Fred is leading the development of the company’s
reconstructive services, working closely with forensic engineers to remediate
“sick homes”. Fred is passionate about his role in furthering the building
professional.
EDUCATION
Fred attended the University of Detroit in Detroit, Michigan and graduated in
1965 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics. Additionally, Fred has
studied Real Estate Investment through Oakland University in Rochester,
Michigan.
Fred has served as an expert witness for the past several years representing
builders throughout Michigan and homeowners in various construction disputes
ranging from bacteriological issues, barrier-free construction, property line
disputes, and other construction issues.
Fred believes that the key to remaining a valuable resource to your clients is
to continually build your knowledge of the industry-not only on the job site,
but also in the classroom. Fred believes in continuing education and attends
various seminars, meetings, as well as national and state conventions where he
continues to learn about legislative issues as well as new trends in the
building industry.
CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE
Fred started working with his father when he was twelve years old and quickly
learned how to do most everything on a job site including plumbing, electrical,
and roofing. As Fred became more and more involved in the company and his father
began to bow out, Fred learned how to do handle everything in the office, as
well.
Capaldi Building Company specializes in the custom home building business. The
