GENERAL OVERVIEW Carter Ferrington has extensive experience in the field of mediation and arbitration. He has worked with parties in well over 1,000 ADR disputes over the past 10 years. In 1997 he was employed by the Council of Better Business Bureau’s mediation and arbitration programs and (while continuing as a BBB arbitrator) has since gone into private practice. A public housing policy expert, he has represented developers, architects, real-estate investors and homeowners. He also worked for MIGHT, a French-owned hydroelectric power plant developer. Carter has a law degree from Howard University, and a BA in Economics from the University of Maryland. EDUCATION
