GENERAL OVERVIEW

Dean Wieseler has been actively involved in all aspects of the Residential Building Industry.  Dean started in the building industry as a carpenter while working on his undergraduate degree.  After graduation he went to work for USHome as a building superintendent, construction manager, Vice President of Construction.  As V.P., Dean was responsible for labor and material contracting, training, superintendents, product design, customers, and quality control on over 300 homes under construction per year.  Dean then cross-trained in sales, purchasing and profit/loss management.  Lennar purchased USHome and Dean then became a V.P. Project Manager in the residential market of Colorado Springs, Colorado.  In addition Dean was later, because of his understanding of both Residential construction and Land Development was placed as a V.P. of negotiations between Homebuilding Presidents and Land Developers to perform due diligence and negotiate/mediate complex issues that may arise between Builders, Developers and Building Jurisdictions in the Colorado Front Range.  Dean was then given the responsibility of Operations Manager, V.P. of Land Development in the Colorado Springs Market, responsible for Acquisition, Designing, Engineering, Entitling, Contracting, Developing, and Sales of Residential continuity and Commercial property for Lennar.  In 2005 Dean was pursued by a small Investment Group from Denver to use his skills to Design and Build homes and communities as an Operations Manager.   After a short retirement in 2007 to pursue his MBA, he relocated to Nebraska, where he started consulting for a small city as there Building Inspector and Zoning Official, which led to sharing his experiences teaching a Secondary Building Trades Class the past three years.
