GENERAL OVERVIEW
Retired in December 2022 from being fully engaged in real estate, development, building, general contracting, and construction management for 46 years in residential, commercial, and light industrial construction. Mr. Kelly studied engineering and business administration and possessed the following professional designations; Graduate of the Realtor Institute (GRI), Certified Construction Inspector (CCI), Certified Construction Project Manager (CCPM), and Certified Construction Consultant (CCC).
Mr. Kelly is an experienced construction arbitrator and has served as the arbitrator for many construction-related cases over the past years.
Mr. Kelly was a licensed Real Estate Broker and Salesman, licensed Building Inspector, and Licensed Code Official. He has served on several International Code Council (ICC) Code Development Committees including the IRC and IBC. He served as Chairman of the Codes and Standards Committee for the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB). Mr. Kelly served on his county Construction Board of Appeals for 30 years. He has served on numerous committees, task forces, and councils related to construction as well as several community charitable organizations including Rotary International and Lions Club International.
Mr. Kelly is an acute listener, analytical, articulate, and unbiased to provide professional mediation and arbitration services to verify compliance with codes, contracts, specifications, and warranties.
