GENERAL OVERVIEW
Ray Tompkins is actively involved in commercial mediation, arbitration and community facilitation. His expertise in the construction process comes from representing developers, builders, and architects in the complex packaging and legal facilitation of single and multi-family housing, commercial buildings, and land development.
EDUCATION
Ray obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Military Science from Oklahoma
State University, and a Juris Doctorate Degree from the University of Oklahoma.
He attends and has taught workshops and advanced seminars in Arbitration and
Mediation for the Oklahoma Bar Association, the Oklahoma Academy of Mediators
and Arbitrators, Attorney-Mediators Association, Oscar Rose University , and the
University of Oklahoma School of Law.
He has practiced before all District Courts in Oklahoma, both State and Federal.
He is a member of the 4th, 9th, 10th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, and the
Supreme Court of the United States. He is a member of the ADR Section of the
American Bar and the former Chair of the ADR Section of the Oklahoma Bar. He is
a Fellow of the American College of Civil Trial Mediators. He is a member of,
and has received the President Award from the National Association of
Attorney-Mediators.
